Service and maintenance is continued to the same quality level as our major products. Our dedicated team of service technicians provide rapid response to any engineering breakdown.

Operating a 24 hour day emergency call-out service, 364 days a year, our multi-skilled service team are fully conversant with many types of locomotive, covering both diesel and electric powered traction systems

Spare Parts*

All field service related activities are controlled from our Leeds based ‘Spare Parts / Service Centre’ which includes the facilities for the procurement and access to an extensive range of specialised spare parts or complete service exchange units.

We still supply spare parts for our early manufactured steam locomotives as well as our diesel and electric locomotives that have been manufactured over the years.

We have the ability to source replacement parts for all types of locomotives whether they have been built at Hunslet Engine Company or elsewhere.

We can repair/refurbish assemblies as an alternative cost-effective sourcing of new.
