Finance - Because we understand that financial flexibility is of significant importance, Hunslet Engine Company customers can choose a business package that suits their operational requirements. Locomotives are available for leas hire or outright purchase. Business packages can be arranged to incorporate full service and maintenance cover for sort, medium or long-term hire. If required, short-term hire can be arranged whilst customers' own locomotives are being repaired or overhauled.

Wheelsets - a complete service for all types of locomotive wheelsets is provided: re-tyring, re-wheeling, re-profiling. All wheelwork is subject to strict quality audits. Non-destructive testing, magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic and ultraviolet axle testing form part of customer service.

Overseas Representation - Hunslet Engine Company sales engineers and agents worldwide are available to support railway operators.

Commissioning - Service technicians are available to visit site and help to support customers with their new or refurbished installations.

Accident Damage - Locomotives that have suffered collisions can be inspected and surveyed to ascertain damage incurred. Depending on the severity of the damage, the vehicle can be repaired on site or returned to our works where further detail inspection and rectification can be carried out.
